The NorCal FA Championships
The SCCA Formula Atlantic series has been creating champions since 1977. Alumni have gone on to secure success in both IndyCar and Formula One.
The Northern California FA Championships is a regional series run inside of the San Francisco Region’s Formula Atlantic race groups.

This championship will feature SCCA Legal FA Formula 4 cars

Race Series Benefits

SCCA Support
The San Francisco Region SCCA features wheel-to-wheel, competitive road racing at Sonoma Raceway, Thunderhill Raceway, and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The club also supports multiple contingency programs for local racers.

Tire Company Support
Goodyear Racing and other tire manufacturers support the series.

Cost Effectiveness
The FA Championships take place at exciting and challenging local tracks.
This limited travel makes them a very affordable way to compete in a complete championship. Entry fees are low, and there is no fee to join the championship.
